Deus Ex Linux Installation

Everything gets installed in Deus Ex GOTY installation folder → System

1. Download and install Kentie’s Launcher. Make sure the files are called DeusEx.u DeusEx.exe as Linux is case sensitive
2. Download and install Kentie’s Unreal Engine Direct3D 10 Renderer
3. In ProtonTricks for Deus Ex GOTY get the following ‘Windows DLL or components’:
   • d3dx10_43
   • d3dx10
   • dxvk
   • vcrun2010
   • vcrun2015
4. Get Deus Ex Unofficial Patch for old bug fixes. My mirror
5. Get Confix Patch for spelling mistakes throughout the game DELETED, USE PART 1 (MINE) PART 2 (MINE)
6. Get Deus Ex Maps Patch for nuisance bug fixes. My mirror
7. Start launcher, press Configure, set Renderer to Direct3D 10 Support. Set to fullscreen, set to 1920x1080

Tip

Limit the FPS under 200 or dialogue WILL break.
